Now THAT was a FUN concert! The choir performed an eclectic variety of music and sparkled in each genre. Great job nailing those high octave solos, ladies! Then, they switched from a light-hearted Zulu shuffle (The Lion Sleeps Tonight) to an emotionally moving performance of the Eastern European Jewish story of the Fiddler on the Roof. And then back to rockin' in the 60s. WOW!
The band was a blast too! The jazzers REALLY sounded HOT tonight, and I loved that we got to hear solos from our Super Senior ladies, Kyla and Kelsey. I can't believe they are leaving us.... NOOOOOooooooooo.......
We used every blue chair and every music stand in the building when the 6th Grade Band joined the High School Band for Ode to Joy - and what a JOY it was to hear next year's High School Band!
Thank you, West Yellowstone School musicians for singing and playing so beautifully! You make West Yellowstone PROUD!!!
